The past few days at SPACE have seen some serious dance party action. The specially-installed "secret weapon" disco lights definitely added to the fun, but it's hard to have a bad time when a band like Matt And Kim is on stage.

Once again, the musicians were on the floor at SPACE last night. However this time it was simply because there's not enough room for two drummers, multiple guitarists, a bassists, keys, and a horn section on our lovely stage. Last night's These Are Powers show brought the action down off the stage to the floor of SPACE. Both the Brooklyn/Chicago-based headliners and local openers The Rattlesnakes opted for the lower altitude, putting them on the level of the crowd and making it feel more like a loft party than a rock show.
