ICELAND COMETH to SPACE: this March.
Some of you might know that we have a new programming captain aboard the SPACE ship. Ahoy, Stuart Rogers, Australian wunderkinder and sandwich expert. Turns out, we have some strong museum representation in our Free for All exhibit. Several of our Free for All artists are also employees at the Portland Museum of Art, our almost-next-door neighbor in the arts district. When these guys aren't making art with their hands, they're maintaining the PMA with their brains. And hands.

We are thrilled that Meklit Hadero, multi-talented California-based queen of soul, will be here at SPACE on January 16. Meklit was kind enough to tell us about starting out as a musician, living in San Francisco, and writing songs about space aliens. (!!!)
