As you may have heard, August marks the first year of Portland music/art/fun blog and showlist HillyTown.com's existence. To celebrate, every Wednesday this month the HillyTown OFFStage @ SPACE concert series is bringing a free, all ages show to SPACE. Each show starts at 7pm and includes three acts playing on the floor of the gallery. Last week kicked things off with Haru Bangs, Theodore Treehouse (playing their first show under the name), and BOXY (with their debut performance). It was a great time, and the fun continues this week with Jesse Pilgrim, Dan Wholey (of Boston's Earth People Orchestra), and Panda Bandits (who you saw briefly at the Johnny Cash night, and will be playing their first ever full set).
